*As she was mentioned, Goldenheart sits up all the more proudly. Then, when she sees her leader departing, she licks Sablepaw's shoulder.* You'll do well in training and be made a Warrior soon, I promise. Bye, Sablepaw. *Then she bounds after her deputy and Icestar.*

*Streampaw looks up at the sky and the shining stars. I wonder what's happening to us and this forest...Well, I can think about that tomorrow... The apprentice yawns and trots silently towards Icestar and the other cats from RiverClan. Suddenly she stops and turns back to the other cats and mews her goodbye to them. After that she continues her running, without turning back.

**Lionclaw stands as Icestar finishes his report. She nods to Kempfur and says,** Well, Kempfur. It's been a pleasure to see you again. I hope the next Gathering isn't as unhappy as this one. **The the tawny deputy trots over to Squirrelstar. She dips her head respectfully to the other leaders, suddenly feeling foolish again, then turns to the friend.**ThunderClan is ready when you are, Squirrelstar. **Gosh, I must sound so idiotic to her! Lionclaw thinks. After all, she is my friend, but I don't want to sound disrespectful in front of Rowanstar and Snowstar. Pushing these thoughts out of her mind, but feeling even more foolish, she looks at Squirrelstar, awaiting her orders. Suddenly, a drop of rain lands squarely between her shoulders.**
**Dawnheart listens to Icestar's announcement, but senses his mood. Hmmm...there is something very wrong about this Gathering. Something....forbidding. As Icestar leaps from the GreatRock, Dawnheart turns back to the group still assembled around her and sighs.** Well, this has certainly been a grave Gathering. **She looks at Stickfur with a look that only Medicine cats could interpret as curious and slightly worried. I wonder if he noticed the atmosphere of tonight's Gathering. A drop of rain lands on her back, and she quickly turns to look at it. Is it a sign from StarClan?**
**Sablepaw licks the RiverClan warrior's shoulder as she trots away.**Bye, Goldenheart! **As she watches RiverClan head back toward their own territory, another drop of rain lands on her, this time on her back. It is followed by a second drop on her tail, and a third drop between her ears. She looks up at the sky. Great. It's raining. She shakes herself as the rain begins in earnest and pads over toward Snowstar. I hope she says we can go soon, the dark brown she-cat thinks.**

*Whisperfur looks at her leader with both a bewildered and worried look.* Alright, I'll go and get the others. *She say, then softly.* Don't worry, we'll be home in a moment and all will be just as we left it, you'll see. *She murmurs to Icestar and licks his shoulder in passing before diving into the throng of cats. to each warrior of Riverclan that she meets she murmurs a hasty hello and tells them to go to Icestar. When she is finished and has attempted to find each one she looks up at the stars. Her green eyes look searchingly towards Starclan. Please. she thinks, please keep us safe from danger and be with us to give us all your wisdom in the comming season... As if by response a single raindrop falls just below her eye to fall like a tear from the sky and she shivers with apprehension as a small dark cloud passes over the stars and the full moon overhead. With quick steps, she races back to her leader.*

* Snowstar heaves herself up from her laying position and sighs.* I'm getting too old for this.* She jokes to herself, though she's been leader for a while now. Nodding politely to the other eaders, she jumps down from Great Rock, calling,* ShadowClan, move out!
* Kempfur smiles warmly at Lionclaw.* A pleasure, indeed, Lionclaw. Let's hope so.* Stretching a little, the grey tom trots over to Rowanstar.* Are you ready to go?* He meows softly, thinking of the sad reports and grave news each leader had given, whatever act they made to say their Clan was in good shape. Would StarClan really let those rogues steal from the forest and moorlands? But of course they would, Kempfur thinks as he recalls stories from the elders about rogues and loners. Neither follow a warrior code, though loners stick to it more then rogues do. The deputy couldn't help but let a shiver run down his spine; bad times were coming, and he knew it.*
* Much the same thouhts are running through the mind of the ThunderClan warrior as she walks slowly to stand with Squirrelstar. Her mind wouldn't let her surpress a simple thought- they were the smallest Clan. All the others were thriving, and so were they. But only in a sense.* Squirrelstar, we should go now. Are you ready?* Torclaw meows, unknowingly echoing her WindClan friend's words.*
OOC: I'd like to note that at the next Gathering, if I am still gone, Fallenclaw will be leading ShadowClan here. You can make excuses for Kempfur and Torclaw if you wish.

*Squirrelstar glances down at Lionclaw with a hint of amusement in her green eyes, but she says nothing of it. The ginger she cat sneezes as a drop of rain lands on her nose; she smiles.* Alright, looks like it's starting to rain now. Better go to our nice camp, eh? *The ThunderClan leader starts bounding up the hill, twitching her tail in a signal for her Clanmates - and friends - to follow.*

**Lionclaw nods and smiles to her friend. Well, at least we have a good leader, she thinks. Unsure if all of the ThunderClan cats who had come had seen Squirrelstar's signal she yowls a command.** ThunderClan to me! Time to go! **Suddenly, she feels a teensy bit more confident. Maybe I can do this, she thinks happily. Maybe I can serve my clan as deputy. She follows Squirrelstar out of the clearing.**
**Dawnheart stands and excuses herself from the group.** Forgive me, but it's time for me to rejoin me clan. **She blinks at them all, turns, and walks over to Kempfur. Flicking her tail against the gray deputy's shoulder, she smiles comfortingly as the rain begins to flatten parts of her fur.** Well, Kempfur, I hope we don't have another Gathering like this one.
**Hearing Snowstar's call to leave, Sablepaw eagerly bounces to her leader's side. Respectfully, she dips her head, but says nothing. It wouldn't do for other clans to see Snowstar being pestered by an apprentice, she thinks. With this though in mind, the dark brown she-cat holds her silence.**

*As the steadily pelting rain rolls off of Godenheart's sleek pelt, she groans inwardly. Almost instantly lighting up. This means that the river will swell and more fish will swim its waters! Then the light-colored she-cat reaches her leader with a dip of her head. She looks at him for further instructions.*

*Rowanstar, realizing the Gathering was over, stood hastily and gave a quick, nervous meow.* Oh, right, WindClan, follow me. *The tortoiseshell padded towards WindClan's side of Fourtrees, waving her tail in farewell to the other leaders.* May StarClan go with you all!
*Twingetail stood slowly, a laughing mrrow escaping at his leader's comment.* Aye, you and I both, Snowstar. *The gray tabby followed his leader's snow-white tail, a thoughtful look in his eyes.*
*Battlepaw took off clumsily after the other ShadowClan cats, the black tip of his tail twitching with excitement.*

**Dawnheart follows Rowanstar out of the clearing, waving goodbye to the other cats with her tail. Catching up to Rowanstar, the spotted she-cat sighs, watching her feet.** Well, Rowanstar, this was an interesting Gathering, wasn't it?
**Sablepaw bounces after Twingetail, then, remembering that she should look calm and composed, not anxious and hyper, slows to a walk and, somehow, ends up next to Twingetail. Looking up at the warrior, the dark brown she-cat smiles slightly then sneezes as a drop of rain lands on her nose and makes it itch. Ebarrassedly, she avoids the gray warrior's eyes and watches her paws as she walks along next to him.**

*Whispestar looks at the small cat from over her shoulder and then looks at Goldenheart.* She looks nice enough, just don't get tangled. *She says stretching.*
