**Lionclaw approaches the Great Rock and hears Rowanstar's statement. She smiles inwardly. I knew Skystar was a respected leader, but evn the other clans seem to mourn her loss. The tawny deputy pads a little closer then stops, realizing that it would be rude it intrude on a conversation between the leaders. Looking slightly foolish, she slowly turns and pads a few steps away to where Kempfur is sitting. Great, Lionclaw thinks to herself. I'm still not far from the leaders. I bet I look stupid, walking towards them, then stopping like I'd run into a tree. She sits next to Kempfur and looks up at Silverpelt (the stars).**

OOC: Yeah.. Got really swamped with finals, basketball, youth group, etc., etc., etc. So sorry! BIC: **Icestar had been very wearied this night and quite honestly had been distracted and pulled away from the happenings of the Gathering. It was quite unlike himself to be so disinterested and secluded, but something was very different lately. Nothing seemed to feel right anymore. It was a horrible feeling of dread, once buried deep inside of him. It was like an old wound, forgotten, but now reopened.
But whatever the cause for his abnormal behavoir, the sage tom's ears pricked at the sorrowful news of Skystar's passing. He lifted his solemn gaze, eyes remorseful and sympathatic, but not particularly wet.** Oh.. I am so sorry, Squirrelstar. My deepest appologies to you and your Clan. It will be mourned in RiverClan for the loss of a good, brave cat and friend.

**Silvertail thinks then looks at Ashpaw** hm.. maybe WindClan... **she then notices the leader sitting alone, away from the others. She speaks to Ashpaw and Winterpaw** you two go ahead, I-I-I'll be right back. **The warrior slowly walks up to Icestar. She mews in a way of: Are-You-Alright kind of tone** Icestar, you seem sad. Is Everything ok?

*Squirrelstar blinks thankfully at Icestar.* Again, thank you all for your sympathy. I'll go now. *She bunches her muscles and leaps, landing lightly on her paws on Great Rock. She lifts her head and yowls once for the Clancats' attention.* Cats of all four Clans! I bear extremely grave news with me. Skystar of ThunderClan has gone missing; we've sent out numerous patrols but have not found anything yet. She came to the members of her Clan in our dreams and assured us that she is with StarClan now. *The ThunderClan leader dips her head and steps back.*

**All thoughts of looking foolish forgotten, Lionclaw looks up at Squirrelstar. The tawny deputy listens gravely to her announcement, then bows her head. Skystar will be welcomed with open hearts to StarClan, I know it! Lionclaw thinks. But she will still be deeply missed by all the cats of the forest.**
**Dawnheart hears Squirrelstar's yowl and turns to face the Great Rock. After hearing the sad news from Lionclaw, she is not surprised, but hearing it directly from the ThunderClan leader drives the message home even further. Skystar is gone. But ThunderClan looks strong. They are doing well, then, just as Lionclaw said. The spotted medicine cat bows her head in remembrance of Skystar.**
**Hearing the ThunderClan leader's call to attention, Sablepaw turns and listens to Squirrelstar's news. Having not heard the conversation between the other cats, this stuns the ShadowClan apprentice. I knew that Skystar was ThunderClan's leader, and that she was a respected cat. And that she'd been missing at the previous Gatherings. But I didn't know she was...dead. Even though the dark apprentice had never met Skystar, she somehow feels a loss at this grave announcement.**

**Fallenclaw, who had slinked in humbly during the later portion of the Gathering, lifted her amber gaze suddenly up to the speak on Great Rock. Skystar passed? What will this mean for the Clans? The young warrior dipped her head and shook it in mournful respect for the grave news.**
**The silver tom sighed heavily and gave his dear friend a smile, appreciative of her concern.** I'm not certain, Silvertail. But I know all will work out for good in the end... We just have to trust in StarClan sometimes, despite the storms that arise in our spirit every now and then. **He tried to sound reassuring to the younger cat, and kept the faint smile when he returned his gaze up to Great Rock. Squirrelstar must be having quite a night... She'll have to lead her Clan boldly in this time of uncertainty.**

**Lionclaw glances over at Icestar. There is something in his face that causes Lionclaw some alarm. Although she can't read the expression on his face clearly, it is plainly an expression that does not bode well for all the clans. What is happening?! Lionclaw thinks. What's going on? Squirrelstar, Torclaw, and I receive a prophecy stating that evil is coming to the forest. Then Skystar goes missing, and we find out that she's dead. Now Icestar, RiverClan's leader, looks...I dunno. Tired, unhappy...Something bad is going to happen to all the clans, I know it! The prophecy is coming true! The normally bold and fierce deputy suddenly seems two times less the cat that she normally is. What's happening?! What's going to happen to us?!**

OOC: Hmm, very dramatic, sis. *sniff wail* IROH!!!
It's okay, Snow. I know how it is, and we do need to get this thing over with.
BIC: **Rowanstar was too distracted with her own thoughts to notice Icestar's attitude at first, but as the new leader of ThunderClan made her report, the tortoiseshell she-cat was struck by her counterpart's doom-like attitude. An ominous worry filled her heart and caused her stomach to flutter, but she pushed it aside until after the Gathering. You have a report to make.
When Squirrelstar stepped back after her report, Rowanstar decided to take her turn and leaped to the top of the venerable rock. She strode to the front of it and raised her voice loud so that all the Clans could hear.** ThunderClan, the cats of WindClan send their sympathy. Skystar was a great leader, and all four of the Clans will suffer from her loss. We also recognize Squirrelstar as the new leader, and wish her all of the guidance StarClan can give. **The lithe she-cat nodded at the ginger leader before going on.**
Now to other business. WindClan is doing well, except that the scents of rogues along our borders have been growing stronger. We have no reason to believe that they mean to attack, but they have been growing unusually bold lately. Let us hope that it is not StarClan's will for them to attack. On a lighter note, WindClan has a new medicine cat, Dawnheart. **Rowanstar tilted her head to indicate the she-cat, the normally joyous moment ruined for her by Skystar's loss and Icestar's mood. Oh, StarClan, watch over this Forest. We cannot know what is ahead. With that, the WindClan leader took a pace back and sat, awaiting the next leader's report.**

*Streampaw nods to Silvertail and Ashpaw.* WindClan sounds good ! *As she hears Squirrelstar's words, she bows her head sadly. She didn't know Skystar very well, but a death of a cat is always very sad. She is still in the middle of her sad thoughts as Rowanstar begins her speech, but suddenly she snaps out from her thoughts and listens to the rest of WindClan's leader's speech. Something is bothering her, and she thinks about all the strange things. Skystar is dead, Icestar is acting weirdly and Rowanstar looks concerned too. What will happen to us ? Oh StarClan, please watch over us and this Forest !*

OOC: Thanks, Rowan. It seems I have some time to at least report...but I may not be able to lead all my characters away from the Gathering. If y'all could assume I left, that would be great. BIC: * Snowstar follows, taking her place on top of the Great Rock and listening to the other reports. Rogues in WindClan, new leader in ThunderClan. What is the forest coming to? How could everything that had once been safe now seem so dangerous, even with all the boundries? The white leader shakes her head, then steps forward after Rowanstar to make her report.*
ShadowClan's greif goes with you tonight, Squirrelstar, for Skystar was a formidable leader and will not be forgotten quickly. Our condolensces speak for themselves that ThunderClan will once again be strong. We also recognize Squirrelstar as the new leader of ThunderClan.
ShadowClan is well, with new apprentices and plenty of prey. The much awaited greenleaf has come, and we welcome it with open paws...and open jaws.* She chuckles at her little joke.* Our patrols have scented some rogue scents, but they have not yet crossed the borders into out territory. I hope that WindClan will be safe in the coming moons, Rowanstar,* Snowstar meows, turning to the tortoiseshell,* And that you can be able to trust us when we offer our help. That is all.* She steps down, waiting for the Gatherign to be called to an end.*

**Dawnheart nods to Rowanstar as the tortoiseshell leader acknowledges her new position, sighing as she does so. Something isn't right, she thinks. Something is happening. Oh, StarClan, please don't let it disrupt our lives. but though she is sure that StarClan has heard her prayer, it feels as though they are powerless to stop whatever is coming.**
**Sablepaw puffs her chest out proudly. I'm one of the new apprentices Snowstar mentioned. A chilly breeze ruffles her fur, causing her to shudder suddenly. What was that? The warm night had suddenly become cold, and as Sablepaw looks up at the sky, a drop of water lands on her nose.**

*Goldenpaw pricks her ears at Sablepaw's admitting. She cocks her head, sighing, and resignedly presses her muzzle to her shoulder.* It's alright, you're honestly the first cat from another Clan I've talked to... *She listens to the reports and lays back her ears at Squirrelstar's news. But she brightens up with her friend when Snowstar mentions her apprentices.*

**The solemn silver tom listened silently to the leaders’ respective reports. Somehow, he still found it strangely difficult to concentrate on the words. Skystar’s passing was still being tossed around in his mind… The mystery of it confused and worried him. Concentrate, Icepelt! You are leader of RiverClan… Can you not pay attention to necessary reports? With a heavy sigh and shake of his head, the grave leader arose from his position on the ground. Something was not right tonight, but he would have to put it behind him for now.
It seemed strange this time, as he walked up the cool stone of Great Rock. Everything seemed so vivid - the wind’s bitter touch; the stars bright twinkling; the collective scents of the gathered cats. So why was he so detached?
Standing upon the pinnacle of the steep boulder, where he had stood before so many times, Icestar, proud leader of might RiverClan, suddenly felt small. The unknown was so intimidating sometimes. Yet, inhaling and exhaling once more to calm his frayed nerves, the middle-aged tom was able to ease himself enough to speak and act properly.** My fellow cats… Tonight is a grave night. Skystar was both a great leader, and a dear friend. Her loss… Was a deep one for myself. I knew Skystar well in the years past. RiverClan weeps tonight for her passing. However, we will celebrate for her sake, that she made it to StarClan… A Clan away from death, turmoil, and disruption.
As for more formal matters… **He paused. The old warrior did not wish to speak of such light things like this - right after news of Skystar’s death. Nevertheless, Icestar once again pushed all unnecessary feelings below the surface.** RiverClan is doing well. We have gathered somewhat lesser fresh-kill than usual, but it is not a threatening matter. Nor do I fear it will become one.
RiverClan is also pleased to announce the induction of another great warrior - Goldenheart. She has been a very good member of our Clan, and I am pleased to see her moving up in life. **He managed a warm smile and glance in the warrior’s direction.**
No rogues have yet dared to bother our territory. However, I assure you that we are keeping a close eye on the borders. **He sighed. That feeling returned again, that feeling of dread. He gazed solemnly upon the cats gathered below him. If only they knew… If only I knew…** That is all I have to report… I bid you all farewell for tonight. Go in peace, and return to us next full moon in good heart. **With that last sentiment, the leader turned and descended the rock swiftly. Life born of anxiety returned to his limbs and he quickly made his way to Whisperfur.** Let us go, my friend. I feel that all is not well… I wish to get my Clan back safely right now. **Without waiting for questions that would assuredly been asked, he bid the group of leaders farewell with a nod and trotted off briskly for the open forest and tall grasses that marked his homeland.**
