**For many generations, WindClan leaders have stood on this pile of rocks to give important announcements to the entire clan- SpeakingHill! I will post here if I have any announcements or if anything needs to be decided in the clan.**

**Rowanstar clambered up SpeakingHill, an ancient pile of rocks that had been in WindClan long before the memory of any living cat. Reaching the top, she yowled out the ancient words.** Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath SpeakingHill for a Clan meeting!

**Rowanstar looked down at Kempaw and smiled. Turning serious again, she looked to the sky. Silverpelt glittered in the sky, StarClan shining down like little points of light. Her meow rang over the clearing and up to the stars as she spoke.** I, Rowanstar, leader of WindClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. **The pretty tortoiseshell turned her gaze on the young apprentice below her.** Kempaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of you life?

**Rowanstar's heart felt warm in her chest as she recited the revered words.** Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name: Kempaw, from this moment you will be known as Kempfur. StarClan honors your bravery and your strength. **The lithe WindClan leader leaped down from the hill and stood in front of Kempfur, her eyes sparkling, despite her solemn look. She took a step forward and placed her muzzle on his head gently.**OOC: Do you know the ritual? If you don't, just lick Rowantstar's shoulder, then stand... well, I would say with the other warriors, but just take a step back, 'kay, Kempfur?

OOC: Thanks for telling me- I'm not that far in the books yet!
BIC: ** The newly named Warrior licks her shoulder, then steps back. He holds his head high and his tail curved, pride coursing through him.**

-----Next ceremony----- Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath SpeakingHill for a Clan meeting! **The young tortoiseshell she-cat bounded up onto the SpeakingHill, feeling the wind ruffle her mottled fur as she gave the call for a Clan meeting.**

OOC: Amberpaw, don't takethis the wrong way, but one-liners annoy me. Add some detail to your post, not just that you sit next to me. Just a tip, you don't thave to take it...

OOC: Okay. I was in a hurry at that point-- I had a play last night that I had to get to soon. I'll fix it.
