**Deciding that he had waited long enough, Twingetail stood and strode to the opposite side of the clearing, away from where Snowstar and Torquepaw were training. With a nod of his head, he motioned his apprentice to follow, glad to finally get to do something. Suddenly, he spun around, crouching low to the ground. A low, playful hiss escaped his mouth as he instructed Riggatpaw.** Riggatpaw, attack me! Claws sheathed, and do your best.

*The cat jumped up and followed his mentor. When he turned around on him he was a little surprised. The cat sheathed his claws and jumped. He twisted his body inorder to land on his mentor's back.*

**Watching his apprentice closely, Twingetail was able to predict the move, and ducked to roll out of the way. Spinning around, he aimed a heavy blow with his paw at Riggatpaw's head, hoping to hit him.**

**Torquepaw goes flying off of Snowstar. He immediatly gets back up and swipes a paw at Snowstar.** (( Here's a tip: don't just use your opponent's name. Use other words, such as (in this case) "the white leader" or "his mentor". Watch more experienced rpers if you don't get it.)) ** Snowstar jumps back, smiling at her apprentice.** Nice move, Torquepaw. Though predictable. Try again.

*Riggatpaw gets hit by the blow and goes flying backwards. Picking himself slowly up, he walks over to his mentor and sits down. He starts licking his fur. Altough it is not very obvios he is watching his mentor closely. He has a feeling his mentor knows this. Riggatpaw suddenly leaps at his mentor, hoping but doughting he will surprise him(Your a he right? Or his it a she?)*

OOC: I am a she. Twingetail is a he.
RPing advice: 1) Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I believe you meant 'doubting,' and 'Although it is not very obvious, he is watching his mentor closely. 2) Try to combine your sentences into longer ones. Try not to use short choppy sentences like 'He starts licking his fur.'
BIC: **Twingetail was caught slightly off-guard by the move's suddenness, but he caught on quickly and braced himself for impact. He was knocked on the ground and sent rolling, but he quickly recovered, launching a fierce and sudden attack at the young apprentice, using all his wile and cunning.**

OOC:OK. I'll try.
Bic:*Riggatpaw was hit by the blow and was sent sprawling under the older cats weight. Reacting quickly he rolled over and braced himself. Pushing his arms and legs against the ground the young cat pushed with all his might. It was clear that the young cat was going to have a hard time pushing the older cat off. The young cat suddenly dropped to the ground and relaxed as if tired. Without a moments notice the cat flipped over and pushed upward with his back on the ground. Straining to keep the big cat above him he pushed and tried to roll away from under him.*

OOC: Very good! A lot better. Cats don't have arms, though. ^.^
BIC: **Twingetail blinked with surprise as his young apprentice escaped from his clutches. A smile tugged at his whiskers as he turned to Riggatpaw.** Well done! I had no idea that was coming!

**A young she-warrior sat in the covert of the tall marsh grasses. She whipped her tail back and forth with anticipation and smiled. It was a good day for the young deputy, and she was anxious to begin training with her new apprentice. I must say.. This shall be a nice challenge. Fallenclaw rose from her position and trotted briskly into the clearing. She glanced about her, peering into the thick mass of reeds and grasses that surrounded the small flat of firm ground. Her expression was intent and firm; her amber eyes pierced the objects about her.** Hm. Hasn't showed yet. **She sat down and patiently licked a forepaw, flicking her tail as she awaited her apprentice's arrival.**

**A pair of pale eyes flashed and a young, gray tom sat in a thicket of reeds, his blank face turned into an emotionless snarl as he eyed a small bird. Pressing himself against the ground, causing a slight noise, Roguepaw tensed his mucles, crouching down into a springing position. A small exhale passed through his fangs, and the sleek tom uncoiled his tail for balance. His ears perked as he heard a voice.** Hm. Hasn't showed yet. **The little bird twittered in suprise and flared its wings.**
**Roguepaw made a desperate pounce, but the bird expertly swerved, screeching in a shrill voice before ascending out of reach. He scowled, but returned impassive, padding towards the grass of which contained the disturbance in question. He stared at Fallenclaw, eyes twinkling with suprise, but settled in front of her with a slight glare.** I'm here.

**The sleek, astute feline pricked her ears at the birds sudden cry of surprise. She watch with slight apprehension as her melancholy apprentice strode from the covert forward.** About time. Try to be more punctual in the future. **Her expression was stern, and hard as stone. Her brown, silky tail whipped impatiently to one side. The young deputy knew she was being hard on the young apprentice, but she felt that if she pressed him hard enough, he would learn to become a great warrior.** So. Let us start with the basics. Tell me what you think makes a warrior great. **The she-cat loosened her tone a bit, trying not to completely repel the younger cat.**

*Stickfur pads in, his long brown tail weaving back and forth as he sits down on his rump patiently. One ear flicks to the side as he listens to the sounds around him. Hopefully Cheetahpaw will arrive soon, and then she will also learn how to defend herself.*

**Roguepaw hid his distaste as he fluttered a long eyelash with boredom.** Whether I'm late or not should be of no revelance. Whether you're late or not is what matters. After-all, you are my Mentor, and as such I suppose you are suspected to tutor me and set a good example. **He spat out the word 'Mentor' with something close to hatred. He believe, and was confident, he had attained enough knowledge to survive without help from some she-cat he didn't even know.**
**Yawning, he twitched his whiskers at Fallenclaw in what was a vague attempt to look keen to start his training, but gave no other signs of impatience, content to remain where he was, observing the world from his point of view, which was not always just.**
OOC: Sorry 'but Roguepaw, Fallenclaw, that's just how his attitude is. Stuck-up? Oh yeah! ;D

OOC: Oh don't worry. I can deal with it, trust me. But you didn't answer me question. And I know that I'm auto-hitting in my post, but I really wanted to post this. ;D Oh.. And I'm not trying to be mean to you. Fallenclaw just needs her fair share of respect. I think this mentor-apprentice team will teach them both some lessons, eh? BIC: **The warrior's ears twitched with annoyance at the young one's impudance. Bored, huh? Well. He'll learn respect, whether he likes it or not... Suddenly, the she-cat crouched and sprang at the other cat, her claws obviously sheathed. Her movements were fluid and swift, and her agile body thudded against the younger cat's as she pressed her paws against his shoulders.
Her apprentice was pinned to the ground neatly, breath knocked out. The she-cat made no further move of aggression, but her tone and words still clearly displayed her discontent with his attitude.** First off, you are right. I am your mentor. And you are the apprentice. You listen to what I have to say, or stay an apprentice for the rest of your life. Secondly, I, as your mentor, do have to set an appropiate example for you to follow. But the point is that you actually follow it, and you follow it with respect or you earn a cuff on your proud ears. Am I clear, young Roguepaw? **She was frowning, but was not trying to bully her apprentice. This might seem harsh to him. But if he doesn't listen to me otherwise, how will he learn? Perhaps I should let up a little... I'm supposed to be the example of calm, anyway, right?
The young deputy released her weight from her apprentice, and removed herself calmly from the younger cat. She sat a pace away from him, her gaze and contenance much less severe now, almost sympathatic.** I don't mean to bully you into obeying my every whim... But you'll never go anywhere like this. **She paused, now somewhat concerned she had frightened the tom too much, and almost bent to help him up and reassure him.**
